There is something special about gathering together with good food, good conversation, and a shared purpose.
On March 29, our church family came together for our annual Taste and See service. The evening was filled with heartfelt worship, encouraging testimonies, and reminders of God’s faithfulness in the lives of His people. As we listened to story after story of God’s work, we were reminded that He continues to move in both the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life.
EGC’s generosity was on full display throughout the evening. Through our iGrow Kids cupcakes in the morning, and Dessert Auction (Plus!) in the evening, more than $7,000 was raised in support of Save Our Children, helping invest in the spiritual growth and development of children both locally and beyond.
While the fundraising result is worth celebrating, one of the greatest blessings of the evening was simply being together. Good food, meaningful fellowship, encouraging testimonies, and a little friendly competition all came together to make the evening a special one.
Thank you to everyone who contributed, volunteered, donated, cooked, baked, bid, and participated. We are grateful for a community that continues to invest in the next generation.
